Positron signs Xenialab as a Technology Partner
MONTREAL, September 25th, 2009 – Positron announced today that Xenialab, is an official member of the Positron Partner program and is already engaging in presenting Positron solutions to customers. This represents the beginning of a close technology relationship with Xenialab who bring extensive knowledge of open source applications and telephony integration.
“Xenialab is a great fit for Positron,” said Richard McGravie, President of Positron Telecom. “The Xenialab team really knows the open source applications inside and out. Their ability to train, communicate and install these solutions is a key element that makes them a perfect technology partner. I believe both companies will learn and grow together.”
“Positron didn’t need to convince us on their technology, we understood the value and opportunity right away,” said Diego Gosmar, Marketing Director and Owner of Xenialab. “We have been in the market for many years and can recognize a winning solution. The Positron solutions help address some deficiencies that have been missing for years, it is clear that Positron is listening to what the market wants.”
“We are succesfully deploying the Positron Technologies together with VMWare platforms and Third party software (like Microsoft UC)” states Giuseppe Innamorato, Technology Platform Director and Owner of Xenialab.
Positron Telecom has created a partnering program to meet the many needs of our market place. Through innovation, support and sharing of ideas, this program can be profitable and beneficial to all parties.
The program is designed to establish distribution and reseller partnerships with independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, consultants and other technology companies. These companies will benefit from integration with, or distribution of, Positron products globally or within a specific territory
Many of today’s telephony solutions were architected over five years ago and struggle to blend within the IP world. Positron Telecom breaks down that barrier. Traditional telephony PBX boards only provide the telephony interface, which have complicated drivers that can have operating system issues and require a complex installation process that is prone to failure. The Positron Telecom solution integrates the PBX, incorporates telephony and IP ports and installs as an Ethernet adapter, which makes its operating system independent, thus requiring no additional drivers.
